The award ceremony of the Dean's Award 2023 will be held in connection with the opening of the works of all finalists. The winning statuettes are the work of FA design graduate Klára Janypková.

Final projects of the Dean's Award 2023

This year, the jury selected from 82 nominated projects. The winners will receive a glass sculpture, this year in the colour of rosemary, from FA graduate – designer Klára Janypková. The award ceremony together with the opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday 23 November at 6 pm in the right atrium of the Faculty of Architecture of the CTU.
The Dean's Award is given annually to outstanding semester and diploma projects in order to cover a wide range of them. It is also a reflection of the quality and direction of teaching at our faculty. In its third year, the award will be given in the categories of First Year Studio Project, Studio Project in Architecture, Urbanism Planning, Landscape Architecture and Design and Diploma Project.
18 first year projects, 45 studio projects and 19 diploma projects were nominated. The winning works were decided by a seven-member jury consisting of Dalibor Hlaváček, Peter Jurkovič, Michal Marcinov, Jiří Opočenský, Petr Stanický, Lucie Vogelová and Tomáš Zdvihal. First Year Studio Project
First year studio heads could nominate one project from the second semester (Fundamentals of Architectural Design II, Fundamentals of Landscape Design II, Fundamentals of Design II).
