The exhibition dedicated to the work of Jan Blažej Santini-Aichl is on display until the end of May on the gallery of the Department of Theory and History of Architecture on the 7th floor. Students have selected interesting details and typical compositional methods from the famous architect's buildings. They show Santini as a complex-thinking architect who thought through each project as a unified unit. The exhibition practically dispenses with the narrative of "symbolism" and "mysticism" that are otherwise associated with Santini's work.
You are invited to the exhibition by Pavel Kalina, under whose guidance the works were created in the course History and Theory of Architecture V last semester.
