DESIGN OF A THEATER, PRAHA 7, HOLEŠOVICE

The aim of the thesis is to design a theatre for 250-400 people in a dynamically developing residential part of Prague, Holešovice. The analytical part is dedicated to two sectors, namely typology analysis and locality analysis. In the typology analysis, the history of theatres and the construction program for a theatre for 250-400 people were examined. The locality analysis also deals with the history, transport facilities of the Holešovice district, the amount of public greenery around the selected plot, flood areas and theatres and their premises located in the immediate vicinity. The last part of the thesis is the design of the theatre itself and its surroundings.
