RESTORATION AND NEW USE OF THE GASWORKS IN KRÁLÍKY

The aim of this work is to revitalise the former gasworks in Králíky and introduce new functions into this historic space. The proposed use includes accommodation in a guesthouse, a bistro and a new cultural centre. These functions were chosen with regard to the needs of local residents as well as visitors and tourists. The design respects the historical and architectural values of the site and strives to preserve and revive them. The document is divided into two main parts. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the building and its surroundings, the second part contains the architectural design itself.
