Application of Cork in Product Design

The bachelor thesis presents a set of six boats made of natural and agglomerated cork with the target group of children aged 3-7 years. The simple shapes and modular system encourage free, creative play, development of imagination, fine motor skills and basic mathematical ideas. The tactile-friendly material, open design and playful combination of elements encourage logical thinking and the joy of discovery, while easy production ensures sustainability and affordability.
