Landscape Architecture, Bachelor Project

Annotation
The design focuses on revitalization of the park of the original historical courtyard of Lanškroun Castle which falls under the area that defines the character of the citys heritage zone. The space is significant not only for its historical value but also for its function, as the castle currently serves as a municipal museum. The design concentrates on adapting the space to meet the needs of current inhabitants and museum visitors, while creating an attractive environment for recreation and organizing cultural events. The main principles of the design are multifunctionality, cohesion, intuitive orientation within the space, simplicity, coziness, and material connection with the castle grounds. By respecting the principles of sustainability, historical identity, and modern use, the design contributes to the development of the city within the concept of blue-green and gray infrastructure.
