Wilson´s Palace - North Wing
Architecture and Urbanism, Bachelor Project

Annotation
The bachelor's thesis is based on a study that focuses on the transformation of the environment of the Main Railway Station in Prague, the design of an urban concept and a multifunctional building. The multifunctional building of Wilson Palace will accommodate retail, administration and housing, and its typology is similar to a city palace. The urban plan focuses on improving the weak points of the area, which are impermeability and social uncontrollability. It focuses on both the departure hall itself and the two adjacent roads of Wilson Street and Vrchlického Street. The object of the designed multifunctional building helps to connect the city districts of Vinohrady and Žižkov with the New Town by leveling the height difference between the terrain levels, thus eliminating the feeling of the city's periphery.
