Architecture and Urbanism, MA diploma project

Fundamental for this diploma thesis was an effort to point out the current unfortunate state of the Czech cultivated landscape. Draw attention to it, but also try to find from the position of an architect some way out. In the case of the Vysoká Lhota - estate of Emmaus abbey in Central Bohemia - the way seems to be the restoration of the former farmstead, of which only a fragment has been preserved. The proposal is preceded by a detailed analytical work of the "diploma seminar", which clarifies the broader social, historical and economic context of such an intention. The project itself then consists of the theoretical basis of the "open form", which is projected into the existing and historical footprint of the farmyard. To simulate the organic growth of the structure, a vision of the farmstead becomes the final proposal.
