Apartment House

The main goal of the reconstruction of the apartment house in Madrid was to find the way of lowering the temperature in the interior during the summer months and to solve barrier-free entrance to the building. I deal with the first problem by adding balconies around the whole building, preventing the conract of the Sun and the facade during the warmest period. Because of the uneven terrain I decided to use an exterior lift providing the barrier-free entrance to the building.
