THE FOREST OF BOARS

The Forest Boars project deals with the awakening of the "Sudeten" village of Zátoň pod Boubínem. If we insert elementary landscape elements into a landscape marked by an unfortunate past, landscape will wake up and man will wake up too. Title: Boar Forest follows the etymology of the word sudet: sud- (boar), -eta (forest), together together "Boar Forest". The wit and lightness of this phrase erases the uncertain connotation of the notion of the Sudetenland, which, however, is still hidden in the phrase, because the past cannot be rewritten.
