The studio focuses on work in the field of architectural heritage care. Students learn a contextual approach to architecture, choosing among various methods – from restoration and reconstruction to transformation or new construction. Each semester, students work with a specific historical site, which they analyze and, based on surveys and fieldwork, develop their own designs, either individually or in teams. The program includes consultations, workshops, excursions, and practical demonstrations. Students are taught to understand the importance of traditional structures, details, and craftsmanship. The studio places emphasis on sustainability in both design and presentation. The semester follows a clear structure, moving from research and analysis to presentation and reflection, while encouraging active participation and discussion.
