REVITALIZATION OF THE URBAN BLOCK OF THE COMMUNITY HOUSE IN HUMPOLEC

The former Community Hall (Spolkový dům) and the adjacent former weaving school building in Humpolec form a historically and culturally significant urban block, whose current use is limited and does not fully reflect the needs of the town and its community. This project responds to the absence of dedicated space for musical life in the city by proposing their transformation into a new cultural venue Kulturák 2.0. The design merges historical value with contemporary architectural expression and aims to revive the site's cultural and community role. Kulturák 2.0 envisions a modern cultural hub supporting music education, concerts, and community gatherings, strengthening the identity and vitality of Humpolec.
