Children´s Toys from Renewable Materials
Design, Bachelor Project

Annotation
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of an educational toy made from renewable materials, intended for children aged approximately 5 to 6 years. The toy responds to the developmental needs of children and supports the development of logical thinking, cooperation, creativity, and fine motor skills. It is made of wood, and its core concept is based on balance. During play, children take turns hanging weights of various sizes and masses on a special arm attached to the edge of a table. If the weights are distributed unevenly, the arm tips and the weights gradually fall off. In this fun and hands-on way, children learn about the principle of the lever and other physical laws. The game also includes an element of chance in the form of a die, which determines the players moves.
