The Fashion Museum on Na Perštýně Street highlights the rich fashion and artistic history of Prague's Old Town through its thoughtfully chosen location. Its design, reminiscent of a piece of formal attire, bridges two distinct eras of urban development. The buildings base integrates harmoniously with the lower Palace, its tower ascends to meet the lofty cornices of the neighboring apartment building, and its glass crown reaches skyward. The heart of the project lies within the building itself. Visitors can admire tailored pieces from the First Republic in an unconventional and immersive way. The journey begins with an elevator ride to the top, followed by a descent through spiraling galleries that encircle the exhibits. This design ensures a seamless experience, allowing visitors to leave the museum feeling like they lived in the exhibiton.
