Annotation

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of switches and socket modules for smart home environments. The aim was to create an aesthetically refined, ergonomic, and technologically functional solution that meets contemporary user expectations for intuitive control, visual clarity, and a modular approach. The design is based on a thorough analysis of existing products, consultations with professionals, and personal user research. The outcome is a design system centered around a multifunctional rotary control button that allows the user to operate multiple devices from a single interface. The collection also includes sockets, safety covers, and flexible frames that comply with technical standards while enabling a wide range of combinations. The project emphasizes ergonomics, haptic feedback, the use of durable materials, and seamless integration into modern interiors.
