Close links between architecture and urban planning are typical for Central and Southern Europe. While in e.g. the UK, the USA and Canada planning is a fully independent profession, most planners in the Czech Republic have an architectural background. The minimum number of students to open the course is 5. EXCEPTION for self-paying students: if there are less than 5 students, the course will be taught in consultations.
