Gap House HRO

The Výtoň area is located on the edge of a redevelopment zone. My project focuses on a specific block within this area. In its organically developed, seemingly chaotic structure, a triangular plot emerged more of a narrow gap at the corner of Na Hrobci and Na Výtoni streets. This plot, which has never been fully built over throughout its long history, remains unused to this day. The challenges of this plot lie not only in its historical context, demanding shape, and limited size, but also in the specific orientation conditions the largest façade faces north, while the southern side remains a narrow gap. My goal is to design comfortable and functional housing that can address these challenges. In the project, I emphasize three key aspects: connection with the surrounding environment, maximizing natural light in the interior, and spatial efficiency.
