Mechanical testing of rat femurs is executed at the Mechanical Testing Laboratory. We use two methods for testing of mechanical properties of rat femur, three-point bending test and bending of femoral neck. Mechanical properties of femurs are detected for the determination the effect of drugs on the quality of rat osteoporotic bone. This paper deals bending test of femoral neck.
