Strategic Development Plans of Cities: Context, Structure and Process

Study texts for the students of spatial planning, regional planning and management, and similar fields discuss the process of how to develop a strategic plan in municipalities. The chapters 2 and 3 provide the process and the structure of the developed strategic plan. The chapter 1 introduces strategic planning in the context of Middle-European planning culture, its history and current relationships between urban, strategic and environmental planning. The chapter 4 enriches the topic with other additional information concerning public procurements, the use of public financial resources and commons, and others.
