The Effect of Nicotine Administration on the Femoral Neck Rigidity and Work to Failure on the Rat Osteoporotic Bones

Osteoporosis is a disease in which the density and quality of bone are reduced, leading to weakness of the skeleton and increased risk of fracture. Aim of this study is the determination, how the nicotine administration affects the bone mechanical properties in rats.
