The aim of this study is the determination of the Calcitonin (CA) dose-effect on the bone bending strength of rat femurs. CA was administered subcutaneous in 0.2 ml on alternate days 3 days in week during four weeks. In volume 0.2 ml there was 3 units of Salmon CA in the first test and 10 units of Salmon CA in the second test.
