Návrh sa zaoberá čiastočne zastavaným územím širšieho centra Bratislavy, so zvyškami priemyselných objektov južne od areálu Istrochemu. Územie je ohraničené železnicou a Vajnorskou ulicou. Jasná kompozícia návrhu nadväzuje na svoje okolie, nové dominanty posilňujú existujúce významné uzly a uľahčujú orientáciu v území. Racionálny funkčný rozvrh územia dobre reaguje na existujúcu železničnú trať, od ktorej si udržuje odstup a električku, ktorú zapája do obsluhy územia. Priestory majú primerané proporcie a navrhnutý dizajn územia poskytuje dobrý základ pre rozvoj 15 min. mesta. Ústredný prvok verejných priestorov - peší ťah s niekoľkými námestiami sa križuje so širokým zeleným pásom, ktorý zabepečuje dobrú dostupnosť zelene pre všetkých obyvateľov. Zelená infraštruktúra využíva existujúce danosti územia a napája sa na existujúci park v areáli Istrochemu. Celý koncept výborne pracuje s územím od širších vzťahov až po primerane domyslený detail. Niekoľko pôvodných priemyselných objektov je do novej zástavby vhodne integrovaných, čím sa vytvára nová identita územia s odkazom na jej minulosť.

Anotace
Considered area is located in Bratislava, Nové Mesto district. There are several brownfields near the area, f.e. Istrochem - the largest one in Bratislava. However, the area has its positives: it is located near the center, has an excellentcconnection to public transport and an important industrial heritage. Our goal was a diverse and dynamic part of the city that fullfils residents´ every need - nearby, within 15 minutes. So that one can get everywhere on foot or by bicycle.
Concept consists in orienting civic amenities and administration towards Vajnorská street, which is set to become a
boulevard in the future. It is the same with the buildings´ height – they grade towards Vajnorská. Our focus was to meet the the neighborhood´s height level (4-5 storey buildings) with only a few high-rise ones. The main pedestrian axis with several high-quality public spaces runs along the entire area. A dominant linear park along the railway is connected to the huge planned park in Istrochem.
