Our design studio envisioned a new tram connection linking the district to the city center. We proposed population
growth concentrating in areas adjacent to the tramway. Inspired by Barcelona's superblocks, we divided the district
using the existing transport infrastructure, positioning major car roads along block borders. Bus traffic was assigned to
the busiest roads, while the remaining spaces were divided between bus roads and designated "bicycle highways".
Internally, the blocks were designed to eliminate transit traffic. We implemented one-way roads, frequent pavement
changes, and narrow road sections. We devised a flexible layout plan that enables plot-by-plot changes, benefiting small investors. Green spaces were incorporated between new structures, creating continuous green areas. On the block perimeters, we harmonized the architecture with traditional forms. In contrast, the central areas of the blocks were reserved for a distinctive and innovative architectural landscape.
