Industrial Architecture of the Inter-War Period in Czechoslovakia and Technological, Economic and Cultural Context

The interwar period has, in our opinion, been unjustifiably neglected from the perspective mapping industrial heritage. Yet, these are industrial and technological works that testify to a period of exceptional cultural, technological, and economic progress. The research, documentation, and evaluation of industrial architecture dating from the period between 1914 and 1945 is therefore one of the long-term pilot projects of the VCPD.
