On the last Monday of November, listeners in Prague had the opportunity to hear in person the British urbanist Matthew Carmona. His chosen theme of the “privatization” of public space is one that he has addressed repeatedly in his previous 29-year career as researcher, instructor, and advisor to public institutions.
